The end of the UNC-UVA game gives a hint to why Butch Davis was run out of Miami. The unimaginative prevent defense in the last 2 minutes allowed UVA to go right down the field and score to tie the game, and then the gutless decision to sit on the ball for the final 48 seconds instead of throwing down the field for a possible game winning FG snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. The end result in OT was inevitable.
