Not Getting My Vote

“I think it is about time that we had playoffs in college football. I’m fed up with these computer rankings and this and that and the other. Get eight teams — the top eight teams right at the end. You got a playoff. Decide on a National Champion,” Obama said.

Sigh

Well, that's one topic I agree with Obama on.

College playioffs will ruin the game. I like that they have something different and not just conforming because people want some shiny new toy. It will not solve as much as most people think and this way also makes the regular season and every game important.

The only reason we ever need to give that a playoff is ridiculous--makes the Dr. Pepper SEC Championship Game irrelevant. Which is an utterly preposterous possibility. No playoff. Ever.

Why we need a college football playoff? because without it all we have have is figure skating with a bunch of French judges who are biased. I htink there are conferences such as the SEC and Big 12 who know they are not a shoe in with a play off system. There is another factor, the weather. Florida never plays north of the Mason Dixon line, they no with a play off system a high power 1 dimesional offence quickly becomes inieffective. For instance if Florida has to paly in December at Ohio State in Ohio or Penn State to make it to a National Championship game, things are not spo cut and dry. Urban Meyer Track stars are taken out of the game when it,s 30 degrees and snowing and the wind is 40 miles per hour. Thats why you dont see so much offfense in the Bg Ten in November. I am surprised the experts dont talk about that.

Yeah. Playoffs are a "shiny new toy". The BCS is so perfect, they don't EVER have to change the rules every year because of an unforeseen crisis scenario.

Playoffs don't have to be perfected every year. They're tried and true and they'll IMPROVE the game by making teams earn it ON THE Field at the end of the year.

BCS = BS.
We need to abolish the BCS "System" once and for all.
I found this clever website which will send a "BS Flag" to the BCS mailbox for you for FREE.
Pretty clever. I just did it. If enough true fans do the same thing, maybe, just maybe,
the BCS Committee will get the message loud and clear!

Try it and pass the word!!
